Makayla’s Story

Hi, I’m Makayla — CEO and founder of Makayla Kares babysitting services. As the oldest of four siblings, childcare has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. With over a decade of professional experience, including four incredible years as a full-time nanny and another four running my own trusted babysitting business, I bring a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and reliability to every family I serve.

I’m proudly CPR and First Aid certified, and fully background-checked for your peace of mind. More than just qualifications, I bring a kid-at-heart spirit to every interaction — you can always expect silly jokes, imaginative games, creative crafts, and plenty of warm hugs.

At Makayla Kares, children aren’t just looked after — they are genuinely loved and celebrated. I believe that laughter builds trust, love fosters confidence, and loyalty strengthens the bond between caregiver and child.
